David Haddad, the president of Warner Bros. Games, is set to depart from his role after 12 years with the company. According to an internal memo, Haddad will remain for the next three months to facilitate a smooth transition while the company searches for his successor.
During his tenure, Haddad oversaw the development and release of several notable titles, including “Hogwarts Legacy,” “Game of Thrones: Conquest,” and “Mortal Kombat 1.” “Hogwarts Legacy” achieved significant success in 2023, topping sales charts. In the internal memo, JB Perrette, president of global streaming and games at Warner Bros. Discovery, stated, “David has thoughtfully and purposefully chosen a time when our release schedule is lighter, which will help minimize disruption to our ongoing projects and strategic plans and allow this team to … .”
Haddad expressed pride in the team’s accomplishments, saying, “I am so proud of everything we’ve accomplished together at Warner Bros. Games during my time with the company.” He looks forward to the next chapter in his career and will continue to support the team’s future endeavors.
