In his acceptance speech at The Game Awards, director Nicolas Doucet reminisced about receiving a Nintendo console with Super Mario Bros. as a child, highlighting Nintendo’s influence on their work.
This recognition underscores Astro Bot‘s impact in the platforming genre, traditionally dominated by Nintendo.
