Development of Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 has made significant progress. According to GameSpot, the project has taken another big step forward.
Producer Yoshinori Kitase has expressed satisfaction with the current state of the game’s story, indicating that it has been completed. Director Naoki Hamaguchi mentioned that development commenced immediately after Final Fantasy VII Rebirth concluded and is advancing without delays.
Additionally, Hamaguchi has not ruled out the possibility of transitioning to Unreal Engine 5 for this installment. He emphasized the importance of delivering the game promptly and will decide based on whether switching engines would expedite the process.
These developments suggest that Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 is on track, with the narrative framework in place and technical considerations being actively addressed.
